Onyx Construction is a Wairarapa local and family owned business. Director of the company, Mark Earl (previously of Cavalry Construction Ltd), has been in the building trade for over 20 years and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the construction industry. His experience crosses over residential and commercial and he's been involved in a wide variety of projects.
Onyx Construction are members of the New Zealand Certified Builders Association and are registered with Licensed Building Practitioners.
We specialise in residential building, renovations and light commercial work but can also assist with smaller home projects such as decks, fences and alterations or general property maintenance.

Mark Earl
Hailing originally from Southland, he's now spent more time in our little region than back home and has come to love the Wairarapa and the community here (although occasionally longs for a Southland Cheese Roll).
Mark has worked in the building industry for over 20 years. (Some say he was born with a hammer in hand). Mark has a strong background in residential new builds, renovations and additions but has also been involved in larger commercial projects ranging from assisting on the Lower Hutt Hospital upgrades, Victoria University upgrades and commercial fitouts for NZ Post.
His work ethic and commitment to completing a job to a high standard and within budget is top priority.
He resides in Masterton with his partner Ashleigh and their son, Lincoln.
